Established in 1999, Giftsforyounow.com is an online, personalized, gift retailer offering a wide range of gift items for every occasion.

This position manages the relationships of existing wholesale accounts with the objective of growing the existing business as well as developing and growing new accounts. This position works closely with the Merchandising and Design teams to be able to align with trends as well as bring new ideas to the clients. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

· Serve as the lead point of contact for all wholesale customer accounts to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Develop communication and build trust by meeting in-person and or Zoom.

· Promote products to current and potential wholesale customers.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize sales and profits.

· Prepare reports on account status. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to the executive team.

· Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement needed to increase sales.

· Direct product designers to develop compelling and on-trend gift offerings

· Resolve issues effectively and quickly, in conjunction with the rest of the team.

· Supervise a small team of direct reports and indirect contributors to accomplish goals.

Requirements and skills

· Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role

· Strong communication skills

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

· Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.

· Proven ability to be a self-starter, work independently and handle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail

· Experienced with making sales presentations.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
